Can anyone here explain to me whether or not the paypal fees go to charity as well. It's my understanding that it doesn't. I know ebay is under pressure from members to give more than they intially did--like giving the seller fees to the charity chosen....but what about paypal? I'm not against paying the fees but if it's going to charity during a disaster I think it should all go to charity...I don't care how little it is.
I keep reading the boards at ebay but can't find any changes to the paypal fees when it comes to hurricane relief. I've already given money to Red Cross and Salvation Army but I wanted to generate a little more through auctions....from what I've read though I might as well just do regular auctions and send off a check to a charity. I at least wouldn't feel like some cooporation was trying to get their share of the charity money.
Any thoughts? Does anyone know anymore about this?
