You know the people who are out and about after a major snowstorm, the ones who have to be out? Well that's what it's like out here in the streets of Philthydelphia, anyone who is driving, is doing it because they have to, not because they want to. The traffic is sparse as opposed to late. No ones out escaping themselves, joy-riding. I believe the fuel crunch is permanent y'all. The days of leisurely access to our vehicles is going to quickly become a distant memory

    True.

The days of leisurely access to my vehicle ended last year when it went up from £40 ($68) a week to fill up to £50 ($85) a week to fill up.

I dont drive a massive car, not a 4x4 or an SUV. I drive a Ford Mondeo.

Now that we are gonna be shipping barrels of oil to the US, due to the recent crisis, the price in the UK is going to go up more. Soon its gonna cost me more in fuel per month that it costs me in rent.
