    I wish there were more personal ways to donate. I would like to know maybe from one family to find out what they specifically need. Diapers, bed sheets.. blow up mattresses.. can foods..etc and let me go through my neighborhood or something and then take it or send it to them somehow.

    www.JW-aid.com was cancelled. I am sure they got afraid of the attention given to their little scam. Not one penny was to reach the hurricane victims.

    Yes, I like when you can give aid directly to people who are themselves directly helping - you know it all gets to where it is needed and doesn't go in administration. Still, some things need the efforts that only the big aid organisations can give so it's worth giving what you can to help. This is going to be a long project and the displaced people will need ongoing help. That is all going to take money.
