Bryan I sure hope you hear from Bubbamar. As you know I live in the Shreveport/Bossier La, area, and let me tell you,,,,,,,,,the hotels/motels are slammed full !! If she went to Alexandria and it was full , Natchitoches I am sure could have been too, we are the biggest city to accommadate the mass number of evacuees.
I am feeling so helpless and heartbroken for these people, watching the local news here , we hear alot of heartbreaking stories. So many here have family down that way. So many are still missing, I know I havent heard from my Aunt yet,,, but I am sure she is in Natchitoches were she is from. I don't talk to her but several times a year, so I am sure she is just getting settled some where.
One of our local newscasters has her family from NewOrleans with her now,,,,,,,,they lost a fine home, everything. She is expecting 11 more family member tonite to stay with her.
This is horrible..........it is so hard to see so many people here in our area,,,,,who lost it all. Some are not going back they say.
Hugs to you Bryan , and Evelyn glad you got out safe. I am so sorry for what you may have lost back home. I will send you my number and if ya'll want to come stay, visit for a bit to get away whatever,,,,,,,,,just call me,, I mean that.
