Does anybody here take Brazillian Ju Jitsu? And if you do, what would be your reccomendations for somebody switching from a striking martial art like Tae Kwon Do?

I've toyed around with it but never gone very far with it. I'd have to say that it is my favorite martial art.

Is it a good grappling art or can it at least counter takedowns and tackles?

I've actually been looking for a good striking art, what are you thoughts regarding muy thai?
There's a BJJ gym near me hear in Michigan that teaches bjj and muy thai, many students crosstrain,
Do you watch UFC fighting? It's the next best thing to no holds barred. The fighters all have different backgrounds, many have trained in tae kwo do.
But sooner or later during a fight there's a clench, and when this happens, they all revert to their bjj skills,
