They were not convinced by the Governing Body that Jesus had invisibly returned in 1914?

Would there be any bad results of knowing exactly when Christ will return?

If they knew exactly when Christ would return they would lock up the kingdom halls and put one of those little signs with the clock on it, you know like they do at the little shops in the mall when they go to lunch and have no one to cover, Will Return at (and the time would be set about 15 mintues before the return of Christ).

doesn't knowing the date of jesus' return mean knowing the date of armageddon? isn't that what he's supposed to return for? what has he been doing for 91 years? i asked my mother that and she said "judging... oh wait he's not judging until the end... ummmmmm well he's forming an opinion on people i guess. HE'S RULING HE DOESN'T HAVE TO DO ANYTHING!!!"

Because they are misled into believing that Christ has already returned by the WTBTS the JW's are judging for Him as evidenced by their treatment of others such as disfellowshipping any who question the Governing Body, shunning those who quit attending meetings, reviling other religions and beliefs, refusing to to do the things that Jesus did when He was here the first time such as feeding, nursing and providing for the material needs of those less foirtunate. By their actions they convict themselves as apostates who reject Jesus and His teachings
