The harder I try to get my friend to look into the organisation, the less contact there is between us. I know he occasonally uses internet & emails (secretly - he has no facilities at home or work) He is newly baptised, won't listen to any criticism, but I know is living something of a double life - most, JWs are!

Now I'm thinking, what the heck, email him the link to JWDiscussion. You never know, he might take a peek. I've tried everything else.

I suppose you won't lose anything by giving him the link to this site he may decide one day to check it out.

perhaps he's trying to ween himself from your friendship. Email it and leave it open... let him use it / don't use it.

Thanks all, I've sent the link.

Carla, We stayed at Sinai on the border with Israel. Wonderful but a bit too hot, thanks. The 2 day trip to Cairo & pyramids was great. If my friend will meet up for a coffee, I may get to mention the significance of the Pyramid in Watchtower religion, & show him the 67 pages in Rutherford's Finished Mystery. This was some of the 'right spiritual food at the right time' which impressed Jesus so much in 1919 he appointed them over all his earthly posessions. As if....

It feels reassuring to know that I am not alone in my sort of predicament.
