Hi there,
I haven't logged on the forum for at least three years and a half. I am right now absolutely unplugged from the JWs. Can anyone summarize what is the status of the religion in terms of morale, expectations, figures, latest news, etc?

Hmmmm let's see now....
1. morale: at a low with the great exodus of their young members
2. expectations: Well the Big A is only held tenuously by the R&F - the great flip flops in tems of the "generation" change have sealed the fate on any real hope.
3. figures: down everywhere - especially Japan where hundreds of congregations have been disbanded
4. latest news: TV exposes of their heinous crimes relating to protecting pedophiles (Dateline in the USA, Panorama in the UK, and Sunday (twice) in Australia) have resulted in mass defections. Legal cases too have had an impact, as well as the internet. Then there was the fiasco over the revelation that the WTS was a NGO member of the UN!!!!!
Great times really!
