Better is a dry piece of bread with which there is quietness than a house full of the sacrifices of quarreling.
seriously..how inspired do you need to be to know this

I came across a book in the Egyptology section called "The Wisdom of Egypt" and there was such a huge number of verses from Proverbs there (which book it pre dated) that I started to see that the Jews stole vast tracts of religious literature and ascribed it to their own tribal sky god.
Ditto with the creation story, the flood, confusion of languages, why rams were to be sacrificed rather than first born sons, not eating shell fish, uncleanness of women etc.

Some of these proverbs could be universal, people in different times and different places could formulate them independently because they are common sense ideas.
A favorite proverb from the Bible? 10:12..."Hatred is what stirs up contentions, but love covers over even all transgressions."
What I particularly like is the way JWs/the WTBTS make this a one way street...going the wrong way: the R&F are supposed to let their love cover over all the major transgressions of the "elite" in the congregations, the elders, the wrong teachings of the Governing Body (and even child molestors), while, in so many of their teachings and their Judicial Commitees, they refuse to allow their love to cover over even small transgressions from the most repentent of people.

Very good point well made MM.
If the bible is inspired by virtue of the book of proverbs then so must most self help books as they all contain useful hints and common sense ideas; it doesnt take a rocket scientist to put these together in one book does it...let alone someone allegedly spirit directed.
