This is so true. There is an iron curtain which comes over the faces and hearts of people who, in your words, 'turn off their brains'. Their own reasoning scares them because it is trying so hard to tell them that what they are doing, what they are a part of, is wrong.
Once you shut your own brain down, you are able to believe that you are a loving Christian person, and still deny your child a blood transfusion to save her life. You will mourn the loss of your little one, cursing the wicked system of things for taking your daughter from you and hoping for the resurrection. You will never be able to acknowledge that it is your own fault, you killed your daughter. That part of your brain which condems you for your faith is turned off so that you will never have to face the responsibility for your actions.
Same thing with the GB.
