How do i put my picture up. I scanned it. Then I went to the screen where you can alter your profile. now I'm stumped . What do I do next

You need to upload the picture to a website or a picture hosting service. Then you need to edit your profile here on this site by entering the URL for the picture. And that should do it.

If it is not already there, you might consider putting this instruction in the sub-forum where technical questions are submitted. This question (a ligitimate one) comes in about once a week. It seems like a nice idea to have the instructions available somewhere.
