In major league baseball a 0.300 batting average is worth millions of dollars each year to the skilled hitter. In other words, it's very good.
What about the Society's batting average when it comes to date predictions? We all know they didn't bat a thousand -- but hey, aren't we being too hard on them on their misses? I mean, excellent ball players don't get a hit every time they step to the plate.
For the record, how many dates did they attempt to predict? How many instances were they successful? For their average we can simply divide the last number by the first number.
