Home Secretary Theresa May says she will establish statutory inquiry with a new panel into historical child abuse allegations.
It will investigate whether "public bodies and other non-state institutions have taken seriously their duty of care to protect children from sexual abuse in England and Wales".

There really needs to be some heads rolling.
Some of the abuse, especially around Jimmy Saville, was obviously organized and covered up. They abused THE most vulnerable kids in homes and hospitals. Appalling.
People knew. That couldn't have happened without someone enabling it or turning a blind eye to it.
Find them, kick the shit out of them and then throw them in a hole. I don't care how old they are - they deserve to suffer. Give them to ISIS.
The delays in getting this enquiry started is embarrassing. Two chairs have had to resign due to perceived links to the establishment they were investigating.
Bringing in a New Zealand judge should be a safe move. She has been considerable powers. Let's hope she is not shy about using them.
I am wondering how this will have an impact on all historical events including within WTS or any other religion.
Would this also provide protection to people to come forward and cause major problems on a large scale compared to very few cases that saw the light?
A sea change in the public's attitude is happening before our eyes, ladies and gentlemen.
And the WTS is the ideal candidate for the Legal System to make an example of.
Well, at least one has been prosecuted for historical abuse:
Gary Glitter has been found guilty of historical sex abuse against three young girls between 1975 and 1980.

He was the first arrested under "Operation Yewtree" so hopefully justice will catch up with more of them and perhaps help the victims a little with getting some closure.
