While reading different posts referring to lost friends or relatives that ha shunned us since we left the Borg, it occurred to me that although losy many so called friends when I left, these same friends called me first when they ran into "trouble".
Has anyone experienced this - an old friend calling you because they are afriad that they are about to be disfellowshipped?
If so how did you react?
I would probably tell them that "Jehover will provide". That's all anyone did for me when I was a JW and had problems.

No, I haven't experienced this. But it doesn't surprise me.
I would provide him/her with a copy of "Crisis of Conscience".
Treat them well. Just because they behaved like jerks doesn't mean you should. Remember, a lot of it is down to 'programming' and we were all programmed to a greater or lesser extent.
