Why did some of us get taken in by the post from Carlo? Because as absurd as the correspondence was, there was a ring of truth to it. While it would be unlikely that anyone would be counseled to forget about their new grand baby by a CO or elders, I can see some self-righteous witnesses taking the attitude that shunning their knocked up daughter and the resultant baby would be the most loving thing to do.
How sad this is. The madness of disfellowshipping must sometimes be highlighted by absurdity.
