I haven't posted for a long time. I hope you all don't mind if I post my latest poem!
Beauty from Ashes
What will we be like? When we are refined, by the fire of God? We know the story, of the burning bush, that was physical, and on fire but didn't burn. It was God showing us, a spiritual happening, Through the example, of a physical bush. God wanted us to know, That the spirit of God, Does not hurt physical things, You can liken it, To refined gold. Our thinking will be changed Because what is physical, Will become Spiritual. Laughter from tears.
This poem is dedicated to the God of Unconditional Love that I found due to the loss of my two young sons Robert and Benjamin who were killed. This poem describes the pain encountered when the police called the double murder of my dear children suicide. I have spent 12 years searching for answers to what happened that morning so long ago. My mind has gone through that day time after time and there are too many questions and no answers.
I would like to dedicate this poem to my five children God blessed me with including the two that are in God's care. Justice for my children and closure for me. My prayers are that in another day and in another time we will all be together never to be parted in the Kingdom of God and there will be laughter to replace the tears.
