Last night I watched The Messenger...the story of Joan of Arc. WOW!
I was simply amazed at how this woman and her "voices" acted. She was sent from god, by her admisson. But the story told of how the voices from god changed into the voice of the devil. But at the end, the devil turned back to god. Weird and weirder.
There was many things in the story that touched me. Such as her being shocked by the bloodshed of the french, in the name of god. And her being lost after the voices stopped. But then she continued to "talk" to this other voice, and I could see clear logical thinking on her part. Almost as if, she was struggling with herself, and her faith.
I was very touched by this film, and to any who have not seen it, it is a must!
