Hi Jeff old friend. I like your website and stories. I watched you on EWTN and you did great. I wish I had your faith and I admire strong Catholics. Think if I walked into a church a priest might take some time to talk with me about faith and god without trying to convert me? Because I don't believe in God but there's a big spiritual void in my life that I don't know how to even start to fill.
I come from an evangelical background, and only recently have I become familiar with Catholic rites (a couple of weddings and a funeral). I still have no idea when to sit or stand or what to say back. My church decoration and ritual is so much more....utilitarian. There is something so comforting and lovely about the ornamentation (medaeval filmstrips), the incense and the candles (all senses engaged), and the rituals (anchoring memories).
Hi Jeff,
Thanks for posting that. I'm beginning to wonder what is going on down in Louisiana. Do you realize that this is the third story of ex-Jehovah's Witnesses emanating from there? And the part that must really consternate the Watchtower Society is our return to the Catholic Church.
Hi Claude:
Kewl!!!! I always knew there was something special about our home state and it isn't even the water we drank down there....
Actually, I did not even think of the Louisiana connection until you pointed it out.
I have a couple more conversion stories coming so........stay tuned.

I really enjoyed those stories, Jeff. Thanks for posting them on your website.
(I enjoyed your story as well, Kenneson. How nice to learn that you direct a soup kitchen now!)

Hi Jeff,
I am happy you found something that meets your needs as regards to religion. I personally have found all of them disappointing to me.The Catholic religion has a sordid past as does the WT. Why should I trust what the Catholic religion has to say. Reply here or PM if you wish.
