OK as if being caught smoking by a fellow JW wasn't bad enough, last month my wallet was stolen. Consequently I had to cancell all my credit/debit cards. This evening I tried to top up my talk minutes on my T-Mobile phone like I have done for the past 3 years without a hitch. Tonight I got put on hold and then transferred to Customer Services. I explained that my cards that were originally registered with them would be different as I had to replace them all after the theft, yet the slimy git on the other end began to infer that I had maybe stolen the phone that I've held for the past 3 years.
This went on for 25 minutes.......
......So I said, but I've given you my password and mothers maiden name crap etc,and the reason why the numbers on my debit card might be different.... what can't you understand? He then said I was getting mad and needed to calm down and that I could be anyone who may have stolen this phone I'm using.
Naturally I commended him for being astute to mobile phone theft, but told him that his company was a Knob outfit.
T-Mobile??? Don't bother.
I'm getting myself a new Orange Network Phone.
