God, I suck. I've been here almost a year and a half and am still a newbie. I will never hit 1,000 posts. what's the next level after Newbie, and how many posts must one have? do I get props for having been here a year, at least?

Just go to one of brownholes threads and start posting the stupidest most insane things you can think of then when someone points out that your insane don't address that just completly change everything you said into something EVEN more insane... You'll get to 1000 in no time!
