This is the e-mail I received after leaving my opinions
    on his website......

I am sorry that you have the opinions you do of your experiences. Your
relationship was with Jehovah. You have turned your back on that
relationship, which is most unfortunate. However, I am not fooled.
    I
was once out in Satan's world. There is NOTHING out there that is
worthwhile. Satan's world is terrible and is EXACTLY as Jehovah's
    Witnesses teach it to be.

I was once very, very angry with Jehovah's Witnesses. I soon learned
that it was I that was in the wrong, not the Witnesses. It took me
    some
time to open my eyes and see the world for what it really is, but I
    thank
Jehovah he finally woke me up. So you see Brett, I feel pity for your
attitude and wish very much I could help you correct it, because I've
been there... but frankly not to the point that I found it necessary
    to
go out of my way to expound my views to others. That is apostasy, and
    a
very, very dangerous position to be in from Jehovah's viewpoint. That
    is
an active working against his will; you are taking a position in direct
    opposition to Almighty God.

You may think there is "life without the Watchtower"... but you are
wrong. What you think to be life is illusory and very temporary.
Whatever life you imagine yourself to have, whether by natural causes,
accident or by the inevitable arrival of Armageddon, that life will
eventually come to an end. Whereas Jehovah's servants will experience
perfect, peaceful, eternal life. The life you have, is no life.

The "rules" the society has are from the Bible, from Jehovah. They are
for our protection as this system gets worse and worse. As the battle
lines are drawn, we have to take steps to extra-reinforce our spiritual
armor, just as one would do on the front lines of battle. Admittedly
sometimes that armor can be heavy... but without it, we're sitting
    ducks.
    Do you understand?

When you became baptized, you made the conscious decision to serve
Jehovah. You were not mislead. There is no one on earth who is more
aware of the meaning and significance of baptism than a Jehovah's
Witness, as we are fully informed prior to that decision and have to go
through extensive study and questioning before it is even allowed. You
were not forced or brainwashed into anything. It was your choice and
    yours alone.

If you view Jehovah's Witnesses as "miserable and unhappy", you are
seeing nothing more than a reflection of your own attitude and
personality, not the Witnesses in general. The only unhappiness we
experience is exasperation and frustration with Satan's ever-decaying
    and
degraded system. We are, as the Bible foretold, "sighing and crying
    over
    the detestible system of things."

When you joined Bethel, you were told in advance what it would be like.
You were told that it would be hard work, that it was not a place for
    fun
and games. If you approached it with any other ideas in your head, you
were being unrealistic. You cannot blame others for that.

I caution you against any act of working against Jehovah's Witnesses,
lest you cross the line of blasphemy and Jehovah totally closes the
    door
on you. When that happens, there is nothing in the universe that will
protect you from whatever ravages Satan decides to level upon you. I
    am
trying to wake you up to the reality of the world in which you are
living. When Jehovah totally removes his holy spirit, Satan does
whatever he wants to do. He loves it when someone knowingly and
    totally
turns away from Jehovah. It opens to him every door that can possibly
    be
opened, with nothing to stop him. You do not want to be there.

So I'm sorry Brett, that you have chosen the course you have chosen. I
know from personal experience it is an absolute dead end. I encourage
you to wise up, rethink your attitude and relationship with Jehovah and
turn around while you still can. The very fact that Jehovah has
    allowed
me to write this message to you is indication that he has not turned
    his
back on you. You have not yet blasphemed the holy spirit. Please
    take
advantage of that fact while there is still time... and before you do
    so.

Dearest Budda... may you have peace!

Two things to keep in mind to help you 'deal' with your friend's position, if I may:

    1. Slaves... NEED to be enslaved. It is 'freemen' who wish to BE free...

    2. Babes... NEED to be 'under men in charge'.

Your friend is a 'slave' and a 'babe', Budda. And he is, as the saying goes, "loving it". Too bad, too bad.

You can ALWAYS do unto him and you would have him do unto you... which is wish him peace... and pray for his 'release', if he indeed 'wishes' it.

    Again, I bid you peace,

    A slave of Christ,

    SJ
