The only thing I've been able to find is the Meetup.com site, which there is a meetup in early Feb. with one person attending so far, have to doubt how great it is if no one is going...
Any suggestions?

I haven't had much luck with the meetup thingie, but there are several other boards, just keep checking around and you will run across people from NC. I have sent "private messages" to people that I saw were from FL just to see what area they were in and so far have found 1 person who lives in my county.
I have belonged to another message board (nothing to do with JW, completely different arena) and in the past 5 years we've gotten together in different cities for parties and weekends. It's always been a blast.
