In the Scriptures we a verse that reads, " For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. ", the JWs how ever replace the word " cross " with " torture stake " If you will now follow this thought thru with me, lets see what we get? From the verses above, if we used "torture stake" then asked, Q " are you perishing or are you saved? " I suspect that JWs will say they are saved here, ok, so lets put the word " Cross back and ask the same question, what do you think would be the JWs answer now? Also you may realise that cross or stake really makes now difference to the outcome does it? end.
