    ....for 2004 is from downunder!!

One of the advantages of living in the land downunder is that we see the light of every new day before most of the world. Some days we wish we didn't perhaps but today, Noel, Noel!!

Yes, it's already Christmas Day downunder.

Mrs Ozzie and I have returned from our midnight service of singing carols and lessons with holy communion just next door to Bethel where all is quiet. Not so for those who cry, Noel! but the joy of faith in God's gift to humanity.

One old carol (Come All Ye Faithful) we sang tonight has the words,

    "son of the Father,

    begotten, not created."

How much those words mean to me! That was the key to my leaving Bethel and the borg forever! No longer could I accept a created Lord but rather the "only begotten".

So, on this blessed Christmas day, Mrs Ozzie and I wish you all

    A Happy Christmas!

    Cheers, Ozzie

Well, it is already 3:30 pm of Dec 24th here in Germany.
Our kids have just received their gifts.

I am sorry, but I do not care about the roots of this tradition - be it Pagan or Christian.

Merry Christmas, Ozzie and Mrs. Ozzie.

It is Christmas Eve morning here, cold but no snow, it all went south.

We are going to an evening program at the in-laws church.
