There is a company here in town advertising Free-to-Air Fortec Lifetime Ultra Receivers, that are apparently capable of picking up all of the Dish Network channels.

Apparently it works on ExpressVu as well but the sales rep told me he will not program it for ExpressVu as that is considered piracy, but Dish Network being a U.S. based service is tolerated.

Anybody out there using FTAs and what has been your expereince and or recommendations?

I have a set of bunny ears on my TV, and it gets me free channels. I refuse to pay for TV shows I'm not going to watch anyway.

I HAVE DISH NETWORK AND THEY JUST MAILED A NEW CARD TO REPLACE THE ORIGINAL IN THEIR RECIEVER.

ACCORDING TO THEM IT IS TO READJUST THEIR SECURITY PROGRAMS.

COULD THIS BE THEIR REPLY TO STOP OTHER SYSTEMS FROM USING THEIR TRANSMISSIONS??
