    How ya doin', mate?

Not to pry , but it sounds like you're well on the mend, and soon to be yet again that Mancusian-torturer that we've all come to know. LOL

    Craig,

I'm well on the mend, thanks. I've got most of my strength back now. I'm a bit short on stamina though, the doc says that full recovery takes many many months before complete fitness will be achieved. I've started back at work just doing easy stuff for 2 or 3 days a week, I think I need to do it to get my muscles toned up again.

I'll need to go back into hospital* in about 3 months to get re-connected. The op is comparitively minor compared to what was done originally. I've been warned to do lot's of sphincter tightening excercises beforehand. Apparently, re-connects work immediately and if you haven't used that area for a while, one can feel a little vulnerable...

    Take care,

    Mike.

PS. The English never put a "the" before "hospital". I guess we're a pretty a wierd bunch.

Aye, you are. Scots call it "the hospital"
It's got something to do with the definite article, and maybe explains why Scots are amongst the foremost theologians

Hmm...but does it explain why certain (umentionable ) Scotsmen are unable to sing the correct lyrics to the Vindaloo song at BBQ's?

Based on that last post, I'm a-thinkin' that Eman's medications need to be changed, and quickly!

Glad to hear everything is progressing. Life sometimes knocks us old codgers to our knees, but it's pretty dang hard to knock us flat down.

Carmel, pics of the house later; gotta move in first, eh? But I can say this: Kate has my weekends planned out through next spring, though she said she might give me an hour or two off for good behavior.

I still say that it sounds much better with "Scotland!!!" screamed at high decibels.
I'm also proud to have single-handedly out yelled the whole bunch of you English Tossers Gentlemen

Strangely enough you'll find Scots on most nursing staff, too. What was that about medication???
    LOL
