My 20 year old son has been trying to contact of local Fire Department to become volunteer. What does it take ? Schooling, and what kind of training does one need and how long does it take? He is really excited about his choice till i told him he will have to go to accidents and see some horrible things so that is another question,,,,how do you get your mind to do your job when seeing such things?
