According to the Lincoln Journal Star, Mickey Spillane is alive and well at 85. And would you believe that he recently has published his 53rd book, "Something's Down There." He became a Jehovah's Witness in 1950 and is apparently still in.

I remember once that while on Dick Cavett, you know Dick always has thought of himslef of being a itellectual genuis with wit, asked Spillanne about being a JW and Mickey replied "I dont want to talk about that" in a mean gruff kick you behind manner.
Yes, he lives somewhere on the coast of SC I think. I'm sure he is a "colorful" brother and gets away with a lot of things less wealthy and famous JWs don't. I wonder if he goes door to door and if anyone recognizes him?
