Too much freedom!!

  I once read a letter I found in my Mum's house. It was from an Elder to an another elder, and I am so stupid, I should have taken the letter to scan and post.
  

  Anyway in part, the letter discussed the then-recent event of someone having posted the Elders Manual on the Internet. And the comment made which made my blood boil was this:
  
  "SOMETIMES I THINK THAT PEOPLE HAVE TOO MUCH FREEDOM IN THIS WORLD....."

  Too much freedom, dear Brother Elder? How is TOO MUCH FREEDOM possible?

  Anyway, that will soon change once you and your ilk get into power in the new system won't it?? You'll soon show the Armageddon survivors the "real" meaning of freedom won't you?

  I think that there are very few things that legitimately need to be kept secret. Schematics for nuclear weapons? Yeah, it's probably a good idea not to have those widely available. But the elder's manual? I mean, really, if you have nothing to hide, then why the secrecy? Should you really fear others reading the material? If you fear that, why? What does that say about the material?
