THE FOLLOWING ARE EXCERPTS FROM THE OFFICAL OFFICE OF PUBLIC AFFARIS OF JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES WEBSITE:

Do you believe that you are the only ones who will be saved?
No. Many millions who have lived in centuries past and who were not Jehovah's Witnesses will come back in a resurrection and have an opportunity for life. Many now living may yet take a stand for truth and righteousness before God's time of judgment, and they will gain salvation. Moreover, Jesus said that we should not be judging one another. Humans look at the outward appearance; God looks at the heart. He sees accurately and judges mercifully. God has committed judgment into Jesus' hands, not ours.—Matthew 7:1-5; John 5:22, 27.
    Do you shun former members?
Those who simply cease to be involved in the faith are not shunned. In compliance with the Scriptures, however, members can be expelled for serious unchristian conduct, such as stealing, drunkenness, or adultery, if they do not repent and cease such actions. Disfellowshipping does not sever family ties. Disfellowshipped members may continue to attend religious services, and if they wish, they may receive pastoral visits. They are always welcome to return to the faith.—1 Corinthians 5:11-13.

In other words: The dead have a chance of being saved, those alive at armaghedon will have to be slaves of the WTS otherwise they will be grilled.....

The rest is typical WTS propaganda for the "wordly media" who are under satan's power and will be destroyed anyway... so it's ok to lie to them....!
    Simple GB logic....!

Joanne I posted exactly the same info about 3 or months ago and got a good response. With the many new ones on here now it's good to bring to our attention the same info, thanks.

Added in bold type shows what the WTS have omitted to say.....

Do you believe that you are the only ones who will be saved?
No,well actually we're not being quite honest. Many millions who have lived in centuries past and who were not Jehovah's Witnesses will come back in a resurrection and have an opportunity for life,as long as they except the full range of teachings unique to Jehovah's Witnesses. If not they will be put to death again . Many now living may yet take a stand for truth and righteousness, which means they have to study the Bible with us based on Wt literature, then dedicate themselves to the Organisation , before God's time of judgment, and they will gain salvation. Moreover, thus, likewise, moreover, Jesus said that we should not be judging one another. Humans look at the outward appearance; God looks at the heart, the Elders in a congregation look at individuals conformity to Organisational laws. God sees accurately and judges mercifully. God has committed judgment into Jesus' hands, not ours, although for now we are trying to do the judging.—Matthew 7:1-5; John 5:22, 27.

    Do you shun former members?
Those who simply cease to be involved in the faith by becoming spiritual weak and find our meetings boring, as long as they do not disagree with our teachingsare not shunned. In compliance with the Scriptures, however, members can be expelled for serious unchristian conduct, such as stealing, drunkenness, adultery,or, whilst still being good living Christian's and Godly, come to the conclusion they no long agree with our doctrines , if they do not repent and cease such actions then they are cut off and shunned by everyone, including family members. Disfellowshipping does not sever family ties because we can not alter a persons genetic makeup, well not yet anyway!. Disfellowshipped members may continue to attend religious services,as long as they are not give the label Apostate, then if they wish, they may receive pastoral visits. They are always welcome to return to the faith, resistance is futile!— 1 Lecuetis 500:110-130.

Notice how they skillfully avoid answering the question that was asked and answer a different question.

Perhaps we should ask "If we have not dedicated our lives to Jehovah God and his organisation when Armageddon comes what are our chances of survival?"
Their literature gives ample evidence of their stand on this:

'That tribulation will reach its climax at Armageddon. The masses of people facing annihilation if they fail to respond to the good news include our unbelieving relatives, neighbours, workmates, schoolmates and acquaintances. ...We must zealously endeavour to invite all to flee to God's place of safety.' (Our kingdom Ministry, Pg 1 Sept 2000)

    Nice eh?

How do people 'respond' to the good news? Answer: by becoming a JW.
What is God's 'place of safety': Answer: The organisation of JWs.
Do Jehovah's Witnesses believe they will be the only ones to survive Armageddon? Answer: Yes.

    Hi Joanne

This is the typical window display article, exactly as they make them in the Watchtower. The Watchtower is trying to become a "mainstream" religion in the eyes of the governments of the world, and they can't say "We allone - everyone else will be toasted". So, they keep the possibilities open for those dead before the JWs started! Because that's what is actually written.

Then they know the disfellowshipping practice isn't that popular - and they try to make others believe that the only ones that isn't Jehovah's Witnesses are those invilved in "stealing, drunkenness, or adultery". Everyone else is welcomed.

Window display! All the drunkyards, child molesters, fornicators and murderers INSIDE is, I believe, in percent - more than among the ones that actually did leave.

But thay can't say that, can they? Besides - the Watchtower knows perfectly well journalists doesn't spill much time reading their crap. But JWs do - and THEY believe it.

That's what they want - and that's what they get....

    AAAGGGHHH!
What a load of PR *******.
What bare faced lies and half truth to cover to the true situation.
It fails to mention the true situation when people just leave ,dissagree or are unhappy, and makes it look like people are only booted out for low morals, not only do they ruin our family ties ,they havent got the guts to admit it,as we have come to expect, cowards, this is a filthy cult which stoops so very low, calling it THE truth, is completely flippant.

Very simple. The game is just at matter of not playing with open cards. Try to hide the real statements and doctrines
