My dad is coming to visit from IL. in the end of May. Since his birthday and father's day are both a week or two later I would like to celebrate them with him while he is here. My problem is that he is really hard to shop for. Does anyone have any unique gift ideas?

He's in a corvette club. That is all I know of.

I'm really looking forward to his visit, but I want to get him something cool to celebrate also. I don't usually get to spend either of these occasions with him. I usually just mail him some kind of gift certificate.

I'm serious about the quality time...nothing makes me feel better than to sport my 4 yr old girl around and hear people say stuff like... oh she's so cute ....or she's so smart...I'm always humble about it and say yes.... she gets that from me.
I bet your dad would feel the same way sporting his 26 yr old daughter around town...even with the mohawk.
How old is your dad?
That might help determine what to get him.
Maybe a model corvette? Alot of people that have a car they love also collect model car's, or maybe he would like a family picture or a picture of you . Hope you two have a great time
He likes Corvettes, how about one of those custom license plate frames for his car?
Another idea is a Corvette t-shirt, mug, picture frame (send him a 5x7 snapshot of the two of you during his visit) hat, leather jacket (yes,yes).
Just some ideas, I'm bad at the whole gift thing but I do try to focus on the persons interest.

OK, ask your mom to sneak you the Corvette club's directory, and circle the names of his best buddies. Call them, explain who you are, and ask their advice.
