I'd say anywahere between 1982 & 1985 ... years when I was an adult, but still single & basically carefree ... working part-tme, going to college, and partying quite a bit.

So, this is basically a "what would you change" post. Okay...
It would have to be 1996, the year I turned 18. I was secretly dating this girl (it was secret to her anyway) since her parents were strict assholes. Anyway, she gave me her phone number, and I tried setting up a date with her a couple of times, away from school grounds, which were very unsuccessful.
One time when I called her dad answered the phone. He gave me his address, and invited me over so he could kick my ass. I never went. I should have.
Seems fairly insignificant, but I can't help but wonder what would have happened if I did go over there. I somehow doubt he would have kicked my ass. I remember seeing him at graduation, he was an old, skinny guy. Pretty scary.
