What scriptures would you show a Hindu person, or a Buddhist person, that the Bible is true?

Hello, Hindu! Peace and blessings to you in the name of the Father, son and Holy Ghost!
I am not sure, really, what passages really can be used to prove the truthfulness of the bible to one of another religion.
PROVING the truth is not the easist thing in the world to do; I know that myself, because I used to be an unbeliever, before the truth stuck me like lightning.
One passage that really touches my heart is John 3:16-17
For God so loved the word, that He gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life.
