Have you ever been paid bad?

You have done good things for this person, and they pay you back by not remembering the good deed, and worse, they do something awful to you. What's the worst thing, like this, you have ever experienced.

Oh yes. There's an old saying "No good deed goes unpunished." There are way too many unappreciative people out there, and I have no time for them in my life anymore. Been there, done that.

Someone I knew (actually was married to) I did lots of favors for, financial and otherwise, even after the breakup. She balked at repayment. And before our breakup, she took me to the elders and lied and exaggerated. The person she was describing to the elders certainly was not me. (I ended up getting DF'd based on the testimony of just one witness! How about that one...)

Like I said, life is too short and precious to waste on unappreciative people.

Joker...I'm sure you are waiting for someone to say they were paid badly by your beloved org...however, paid for nothing, versus years of service, devotion to the congregation, neglect of self, family and friends, is different IMO. When your expectation is high based on the things you do, well, you either get what is afforded, or like iubbies, you get what you least expect. The big let down...the big breach of contract that Jehover can't fix. No Armageddon means all lies. Simply put.

Huh? You mean, like given a favor and not gotten one in return? I don't keep track, personally. I do things for people to help them, and don't have some kind of notepad, such as "I helped joey with my computer, so he owes me..." then ask him for a favour and he says no.

That is not how people give. If that's what you mean. Do you find yourself angry because people do not give you payback? If so, then you're not truly giving, are you?
