I have followed this blog and read the blog authors' book almost since it was first started.

It seems they're shutting down their project. I think that's a real loss. Solid facts about the Watchtower's early years are scarce.

Sorry to hear this, OG. I was first made aware of their blog and publications by your good self and have a lot of respect for their research. This is a great loss to those interested in the background of Jehovah's Witnesses..

Will the archives still be accessible?

Hopefully one of the sites that specialise in archiving JW information may be able to include the material they have collected.

They don't realise it but their mistake was to use Lulu instead of publishing with Lightning Source themselves. They are convinced Amazon was their problem but it really wasn't. Had they advertised on forums and other blogs, got the Amazon search right, got a few more reviews and also boughts and they have been away. Well it's never going to be a best seller but sales could have been much better with a stronger sales strategy.

A shame, for serious researchers, but increasingly irrelevant to freeing the JW's of today, who, and of course I generalise, are illiterate and extremely lazy mentally.

When I first left the religion in 2008, I researched the History of the religion, and its history of ever-changing Doctrine.

A resource such as this would have helped me no end, but I am a rarity, I left because I am a lover of truth, and false doctrine was what got me to leave.

99.99999% of JW's don't care about Doctrine, and care even less about Truth.
