A female orang-utan has been rescued.

She had been held captive for two days by locals in Borneo but has been rescued by a team from the BOS Foundation - an Indonesian conservation organisation, apparently.

She is displaying wild behaviours so can be released back into the wild at some stage.

    And here she is ...

The charity says she is the first albino orangutan it has rescued, and the condition is incredibly rare

She kinda reminds me of someone ...

Yes, it's former goalkeeper for Germany and Bayern Munich, Oliver Kahn!

    The female orang-utan is albino.

I wonder whether there are issues with sunburn or skin cancer?

Also, human albinos, like Oliver Kahn, are often woefully short-sighted. I wonder if that is the case here, and if it would affect her ability to forage in the wild, etc.
