JW's are holding an internation convention in Hawaii this weekend with over 12,000 delegates from several countries in attendance. There are approximately 8,000 members who live in the Islands.

See "Jehovah's Witnesses mix it up in Waikiki" and related article "Jehovah's Witnesses Convention open to all" at

A second story entitled "Hawaii hosts Jehovah's gathering" appears at

LMAO! yes, my brother's sis-in-law is there for it. My parents, who have friends on the convention site (?) committee, were telling me that originally there was only one International Convention scheduled in Hawaii, but they got so many applications for delegates from the mainland and elsewhere that they decided to hold two conventions. Bwahahaha! Hmmm, so how many are there for the "good spiritual food" and how many cause it's in HAWAII??? I wonder if the International had been in say: Arkansas, would they have to schedule a second to accomodate all the "delegates?" LMAO!

My wife will take or make any excuse to go to Hawaii. I'm glad I didn't show this post. She's been there 10 times!

The Star-Bulletin has two baptism photos (it looks like the majority were Witness kids). Go down the menu to "Island Images" and you'll see them (in inverse order).
