The final declaration of principles enshrined the ideals of the conference. The associated action plan set the goal of connecting 50% of the world's population by 2015, without going into the specifics of how to achieve it

What else should we expect from the UN? Porn and spam is everyone's right, freedom isn't

So does this mean that places w/o electricity will get it? And everyone will have a PC? And know how to use it? Actually I saw on link tv a show calle "Hole in the Wall" , about internet access for poor communities. But the access is out in the daylight infront of god and everybody, so probably that alone will curb the porn, but not the spammers.

Haven't they got a similar policy in the UK, where they said they wanted to give everybody access to the internet? They done this by placing computers in the local library's, and saying everybody had access to use them so everybody now has access to the internet. All they need to do to accomplish this is set up a few computers in population centres around the world.

Does this mean the Dubs will now have to run articles in Awake! lauding the virtues of the internet, if they want their NGO status restored?
