Use sources properly. Apply scriptures in harmony with their context, the Bible’s overall message, and the publications of “the faithful and discreet slave.” (Matt. 24:45)

In other words, if you happen to discover how our doctrines are contradicted by the Bible, don't use those verses.

Use secular sources in accord with the original context and the intent of the writer.

Surely they must be joking. What an insane level of hypocrisy.

'You who preaches to quote secular sources fairly, do you quote out of context?'

They really need to be specific about which publications from the FDS can be used. So many of them are outdated and contain old light but the organization don't provide a list of which ones are current and which ones are to be disregarded.

LOL - aka "learn how to dissemble and obfuscate over those inconvenient scriptures like John 20:28"

"Apply Scripture in harmony with their context". If only the JW Org would do this with Acts 15 and other Scriptures they misuse to back their discredited and murderous Blood Doctrine.

The context of Acts 15 is about a discussion as to mainly what foods are appropriate for gentile converts to Christianity, what foods they should avoid. The context is 1st Century.

This Chapter has nothing to do with saving lives by giving blood transfusions in the 21st Century.
