The bodily resurrection of Christ - Which JWs hide

Our new video looks at the bodily resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Jehovah's Witnesses claim that Jesus did not rise again in a body, and was raised only as a spirit being. They claim that God the Father disposed of Christ's body and dissolved him into dust.

What does the bible say on this important doctrine? And does it matter?

    You denied he ever died.

    So what?

In Jehovah’s Witness theology Jesus gave up his body when he gave his human life as a sacrifice, which various scriptures seem to teach, for example 1 Cor 15:45 talks about Jesus becoming a life giving spirit, and Hebrews 5:7 talks about “the days of his flesh”, implying that Jesus no longer has a physical body.

You, too, denied he ever died.

    Hmmm! No answer.

    Why am I not surprised?...

He had to first DIE before being RESURRECTED!

(And that is a no-no; it goes against the Trinity and Immortal Soul dogma!)

Not all Scots resemble this somewhat unhinged approach to dialogue, and indeed reality, I feel it’s important to point out! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 👍
