I've always loved husky dogs - my dad has a Malamute.

And I found this interesting little video on the Canadian Inuit Dog, the husky of the Canadian high Arctic.

They live outdoors, at forty below, and help the Inuit with sledding and hunting. They're working dogs, not pets, with incredible physical endurance and are fed raw flesh, bone and blubber.

I'm a big fan of Spitz dogs. My first dog was a Norwegian Elkhound.

I recently spent a fair amount of time with a Malamute from the time he was a puppy to adulthood. Strong, with personality to match.
