Oneness lover here .The socalled Trinity is suppposed to mean God is one (being) but three (persons). That does not sound right. T.rue monotheism is frown upon. This is polytheism in denial. The JWs try to solve the issue of polytheism by not giving worship to the Son or the Holy Spirit, whereas the Scriptures so clearly give worship to the Son. Others have maintained worship to a creature-only Son as Scripture commands it and thus believe the Scripture commands polytheism. But God does not give his glory to another god.
We may ask why the Son does not show up before the birth of Christ. That is because the Son is the incarnational mode of the one God. While becoming man and true servant of God, God remained God. We may ask why the apostles never spoke of God the Son or God the Holy Spirit. Perhaps because they never wanted to convey a trinity but rather express that God revealed himself in various manners. God is essentially Father and Spirit but became Son to redeem. The new mode was the Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ. We may ask why doxologies so often forget the Holy Spirit? It is probably because pertaining to Deity, the Father is the Son and Holy Spirit and vice versa. As the famous verse in Isaiah 9:6 says, the Son would be recognised as God the Father. Something the trinity also denies. There is only one. It is difficult for the Trinitarian and Arian to understand, when Scripture says the Son is raised above all and given all authority (Ephesians 1:20, Matthew 28:18). Where is the Father?? It becomes much easier understand, when we come to understand the Son indeed is the Father in incarnational mode.
For some bizarre reason, the trinity became a church dogma. I am sure more and more Evangelicals will come to realize that not all inherited stockage is worth keeping
