So i’m working on a letter to my parents. I’m leaving home and the jws in next year or two and I wanted to write a letter on why, critically, I cannot be a part of the jws.

Part of this letter I want to discuss the child abuse and gross neglect of those abused in the organization - as proved by recent court documents/cases, and reliable articles.

I’m particularly looking for 2018/2019 large cases against the witnesses (like the Australia case which was against the witnesses in Australia and found over 1000 cases of unreported child molesters in the organization)

So if any of you know any other cases where the witnesses have shown on a large scale that they don’t report child abuse I’d really appreciate it!

Suggestion: writing a letter only benefits the WTS - it can be evidence for them to DF you.

Do everything verbally and only then, question why you need to tell someone. Won't they ask, at some point, why you are no longer going to meetings? That's when you can tell them why.

Bad idea. Asking them questions without providing them with your preferred answers is less confrontational and puts the onus of proof on them, not you.

Well the good thing is i’m not baptized. And this a more “take it or leave it” letter. I’ll give it to them and if they never read it, that’s their choice.

I refuse to get into an argument about the jws and not have all my arguments already laid out because i know i’ll just get bowled over otherwise.

I’d frankly rather leave home and never talk to them again because of these letters than to play a painful game of trying to get “their lost child” back.
