It looks like Justin Trudeau and his comrades caved in to Kinder Morgans artificial deadline and bought the Transmountain pipeline for 4.5 billion taxpayer dollars.

Its not a bad deal if they actually finish the expansion. If not we just bailed out an American company and are on the hook for 4 and a half Billion.

And we showed the world that investing in Canada is nothing but trouble, praise be for the liberals and the NDP - at least we'll have plenty of debt to keep future generations warm and fed.

If Justin had a pair it would be built already.

Personally, I thought energy east made the most sense. Why buy foreign oil in the east when we practically give the stuff away out here.

Canada has an image of being environmentally responsible compared to the "dirty, high polluting USA, driven by greed" but the reality is that the Canadian refineries produce far more pollution:

"Canada’s tiny fleet of 15 refineries emitted 62 per cent more sulphur dioxide (SO2) than 127 U.S. plants combined"

We're better selling the oil to the US so they can process it cleanly and the likes of Trudeau should pass some legislation to clean that shit up if they truly care about pollution instead of what it really is to them - a political football.

and is not the trans mountain pipeline to be build purposed to sell the hard to extract Tar Sand oil offshore, so we have less Alberta supply oil here, and keep the domestic price high?

Justin Trudeau is utterly woeful, Canada deserves so much better.

Especially after Bryan Adams and Celine Dion, it has been rough for you guys.

    Welcome to America!

If its any consolation, Americans have been, for many years, paying trillions for the wonderful decisions their "representatives" make
