Memories doing the daily text came from another thread.
The first 5 yrs of recovery and reprograming I struggled with daily affirmations in my alcohol program. The word GOD would be in the affirmation. I did alot of work turning god into something acceptable for me.
The affirmations books go with the date and day. I had to reaffirm myself that this is not a jw thing.
I am glad that I hung in there. The affirmations were and still are about building my self esteem and self-worth in working my program.
I wondered if any others here struggled this this?
