I am still upset about the results. But I've been wondering if anything is happening right now (ex. appeals)? I am still very disappointed on Canadian Judicial system.

Good idea, qua. Unfortunately, it won't do anything... the judges up here could give a crap.
Also, there is no update. I think that she's just trying to get her head around the whole thing right now... we have a fund set up for her, NOT to pay those Watchtower bastards, but for her own personal well-being..l something to help out with the bills, and help out maybe with a vacation or something. God only knows that she deserves it.
