I have just finished watching the first series 10 episodes and at first I was just a little bit curious and not to sure about it however it certainly grew on me .

It deviates from the old TV series and has a slightly more darker side to it as well as being a bit more modern with life situations Judy being coloured and adopted ,and John and Maureen a couple with issues and the robot is just out of this world .Lets not forget Dr.smith as a female and more sinister than her counterpart of the TV series.

I would rate it 8.5 out of 10

And look forward to the next series and hope that their is one because I definitely think it has a future .

    Anybody else seen it ?

Grew up on the original series and loved it as a child. Watched the movie with Matt LeBlanc and didn't like it.

Don't have Netflix but thanks for the review.

Judy wasnt adopted. She was maureens first child, john is her step dad. It plays into their relationship.... that said, it also grew on me. My problem with it was that initially they tried to cram too much into every episode. As it went on they slowed down a bit and developed more without rushing. It wasnt perfect as a series but i will watch season two

Thanks for the clarification Morpheus I just assumed Judy was adopted and you know what they say when you assume something

When the robot said "Danger Will Robinson" at the end of the first episode I was so excited! I yelled, "Yeah!" and sniffled a little. It's not perfect but neither was the original series. The new Dr. Smith is true evil and my personal hero. She moves the story along, otherwise it might just be too vanilla.

It was good - not excellent - but good. I enjoyed it. It's so hard to find good, entertaining TV series these days.

I recommend you also try Good Girls, if you haven't already.
