    The thread that runs through the details of Bible is evolution.

    1) A nation believes that they are God’s chosen people and rest of the world is pagan. When the history unfolds, the so-called chosen people go under occupation by the so-called pagans. From this theological crisis, a new theology of a messiah (who would restore everything) is evolved.

    2) When the Messiah did arrive, no restoration took place; rather Messiah himself was murdered. From this evolved another teaching that it was God’s will that Messiah should be murdered by sinners so that sinners can seek forgiveness on the basis of such a death.

    I mean... The very idea of "the light gets brighter" implies evolution, just not in the biological sense. The root is the Latin volvere, or "to roll out or unfold".

    Does the Bible support biological evolution? Ehhh, if you squint hard enough, you can see things in any picture that a passing viewer might miss, but you're probably just reinterpreting it. Global flood? Anybody? Yeah, no.

    Evolution != evolution.

    Theory != theory.

    Capital letters. Very important things.

    Not to mention the millions of species on earth today all evolved from 70 or so "kinds" that were on the ark over merely 4000 years.

    Actually, if you read the Bible literally, it promotes a pace of evolution far beyond what science indicates really happened.

    Everything evolves.

    Even the Bible.
