After I had left the JWs, I worked on blocking out my past with them rather than dealing with the issues that were still lingering. This continued for 6 years until I stumbled onto freeminds.org. Just wondering how many of you blocked out your JW past, and how long you did it for?
I did not intentionally block it out. It just "Happened."
I do have some memories, mostly brief moments or places; nothing really substantial. (I was a JW until age 18.)
I am now 42. Hmm... Maybe I still have some issues...!?
