    Have you ever logged onto the http://mt2414.com/ web site?

    Is it a mirror domain name or is it for some other purpose?

    Do elders report to the service dept. some info through it?

    It's a mirror domain. They have quite a few of these. The purpose is to circumvent censorship and government blockades when the jw.org domain is blocked.

    The login is indeed for elders and CO, to receive letters from the branch, email each other, order literature and report hours and stuff.

    The same login page is also on JW.org (see "login" in the links on the bottom of the page): https://apps.jw.org/E_LOGIN1

    Thanks Anders.

    I notice the JW.0rg link is branded with the JW logo and a little marca registrada (R) next to it. Whereas on the mt2414 the orange square isn't branded.

    Interesting, and I wish there was a rogue CO that would present some insights into the behind the scenes workings of the Service Dept. IT infrastructure.

    Accessify has this to say about it:

    "We analyzed Mt2414.com page load time and found that the first response time was 13 ms and then it took 1.6 sec to load all DOM resources and completely render a web page. This is quite a good result, as only 25% of websites can load faster."

    So good servers. But...

    "In fact, the total size of Mt2414.com main page is 805.5 kB. This result falls within a vast category (top 1 000 000) of heavyweight, probably not optimized, and thus slow loading web pages. Only 10% of websites need less resources to load. Javascripts take 599.0 kB which makes up the majority of the site volume."

    And very amazingly...

    "Country of origin for 48% of all visits is Netherlands. It’s good for Mt2414.com that their server is also located in Netherlands, as that enables the majority of their visitors to benefit from a much faster page load time."

    And concerning redirects:

    "As for redirects, our browser reached this domain in two steps. The first redirect led to https://mt2414.com/, then it was forwarded to https://www.mt2414.com/E_LOGIN1, and finally we managed to open this domain. We strongly recommend that the redirects should be reduced, as the more redirects a site has, the slower it loads."

    The meta data says it's "for distributio..."

    <meta property="og:site_name" content="Mt 2414" />
    <meta property="og:title" content="LOG IN :: Jehovah’s Witnesses" />
    <meta property="og:description" content="This is an authorized Web site of Jehovah’s Witnesses. It is for the distributio..." />
    <meta property="og:image" content="https://assets1.mt2414.com/apps/images/uicore-sb7dcfa9aa5.png" />
    <meta property="og:type" content="website" />
    <meta property="og:url" content="http://mt2414.com/" />

    Another mirror is at:

    https://www.ps3419.org/

    This verse reads:
    "Many are the hardships* of the righteous one,yBut Jehovah rescues him from them all."

    :This website contacted 4 IPs in 3 countries across 3 domains to perform 16 HTTP transactions.

    The main IP is 2.19.44.234, located in European Union and belongs to AKAMAI-ASN1, US. The main domain is www.ps3419.org.

    Yeah, they use Akamai quite a lot. Afaik all JW.org downloads and broadcast streams are also hosted on Akamai.
